Ingredients
1 kg Bangade meenu (mackerel)
4 tsps of red chilli powder
1 tsp corriander powder
1/4 tsp each of roasted and ground mustard and Fenugreek Seeds(menthe)
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method
Mix all the above ingredients except oil in a bowl.
Clean the fish and slit them in the middle.
Apply the mixture to the fish on both the sides. Leave the fish in the refrigerator to marinate for a day.
Fry them in the oil the next day.
