Rice flakes(Avalakki/Poha) - 2 cups

Onion - 1 medium
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Freshly grated coconut - 3 tbsp
Lemon juice - A little
Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp

For seasoning:
Channa dal or Urad dal - 1 tsp
Peanuts - 1 table spoon
Green Chillis - 3, Cut into half
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - A few


Wash poha and drain water. Keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan.Add the ingredients for seasoning. Add chopped onions and fry till translucent. Now add poha,salt to it and mix well. Finally, add grated coconut and squeeze a little bit of lemon juice on it. Cook until the poha is soft

Garnish with coriander leaves.
