Ingredients
6 cups of chopped Kesavina soppu
Onion 1
Crushed garlic 8
Lemon juice 2 tsp
Tamarind Small lemon size
Grated coconut 1/2
Salt
Turmaric 1/2 tsp
Toor dal 1 cup
Oil 1 big spoon
Red chilli powder 2 table spoon
Masala
Coriander seeds 2tsp
Gran dal(kadale bele) 2tsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Methi 1/2 tsp
Urid dal 1/2 tsp
Pepper corn 1/4 tsp
Roast all the above ingredients.
Method
Cut onion into half and roast on the direct flame or if you can find burning coal .
Grind the roasted onion with the roasted masala(or you can use your own Huli pudi)coconut, red chilli powder and tamarind .
Cook toor dal and Kesavina soppu and turmaric in a pressure cooker.
Add the ground mixture to the cooked Bele and soppu.
Bring it to boil.
For seasoning, take oil in a pan and add mustard seed and garlic.
Add lemon juice to it.
