Ingredients

Haagala Kaayi (bitter gourd) 4 -5

Rave (semolina)1 1/2 cups
Jeera 1 tsp
Chopped Green chillies 10
Ghee 1 tsp
Grated dry coconut(kobbari)1 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves 1 bunch
Salt
Oil for frying

Method

Grate haagalakaayi and soak in butter milk or yogurt overnight.

Next day wash it with salt and turmaric.
Heat ghee in a pan and add rave to it.
Fry till it turns golden brown.
Then mix haagalakaayi with roasted rave, salt kobbari,jeera, green chillies and coriander leaves.
Add some water and mix well.
Make round balls with the dough and flatten it(shapes of vade).
Deep fry in the oil.
